2013 Cabernet Sauvignon

The perfect introduction to our cab portfolio.

$65.00   per 750ml bottle
Ruby in color with blackcurrant, blackberry, and plum aromas bursting from the glass with secondary notes of black tea and dried hibiscus. A full and intense delivery on the palate with dusty tannins that support a long evolution of flavors. Plums, briar, blackberries and licorice all are present, with a touch of stone, all delivered in a rich textural mouthfeel.

Wine Profile

Vineyard Notes
This wine is made up of 78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Merlot and 6% Petit Verdot from unique soils across the Napa Valley. We are fortunate to include three different AVAs within this blend, Calistoga (Amoenus Vineyard), Yountville (Sleeping Lady Vineyard) and Oakville (Taddei Vineyard).

Vintage Notes
In the 2013 vintage, we experienced moderate temperatures and dry conditions in all of our vineyard locations. All wines from the vintage, both red and white, benefitted from a long, cool growing season, and this was especially true for Cabernet Sauvignon.
