A perfect blend of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

$120.00   per 750ml bottle
Expressive aromas of wild blackberry, plum, a touch of anise and spice compliment the hallmarks of a classic Napa Cabernet’s dark fruits, plums, blackberries, forest floor and briar on the palate. The tannins are well integrated, allowing for a complex evolution of flavors that drive the persistence of enjoyment. A versatile wine, it pairs perfectly at home with smoky BBQ meats; or more complex dishes such as OssoBuco.

Wine Profile

Vineyard Notes
Coming from a combination of Calistoga and Yountville vineyards, this blend demonstrates the selection of distinct but complimentary Cabernet Sauvignon clones. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon comprising of three different clones allowed us to make selective picks throughout the vintage. Each clone was selected for its strength in the blend, be that tannin, structure, or fruit component. We created a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon that is greater than the simple sum of its parts.

Vintage Notes
As far as vintages go, 2012 was a dream. The year started off mild without the usual harsh frosts. Favorable temperatures throughout spring delivered successful fruit set and good yields. As the season moved into summer, warm consistent temperatures and gentle breezes from the Bay allowed the grapes optimum conditions to achieve a near perfect balance of fruit, tannins and acid.
