This small production Petite Sirah has its very own cult following; inky and opulent, it's no wonder as to why.

This is a classic Napa Valley Petite Sirah from start to finish. The color is opaque red, nearly black. The aromas are very classic for the variety - black pepper, anise, and a big burst of plum-blackberry fruit. On the palate, this wine is very powerful, but it retains a surprising degree of balance, due in part to our restraint in not overusing new oak. Smoke up a big brisket and invite a bunch of folks over to share a case of this 2009 Petite Sirah - you will have friends for life!

Wine Profile
Vineyard Notes
The fruit for this wine was sourced exclusively from our Oakville Cross Road Estate Vineyard, located along the central corridor of Napa Valley. The clay-loam soil in our carefully-tended small block of Petite Sirah retains just enough moisture throughout the season to ripen a very small crop of intense, concentrated Petite Sirah.
