What is your favorite treasured possession?  I don't own anything that I am attached to...
If you could get any reservation on a moment's notice, which bay area restaurant would it be?  Bottega.
What is your greatest extravagance?  Good wine and food for sure.
What is your favorite secret junk food?? Rice Crispy treats and donuts.
Which vice could you NOT live without:  sugar or butter?  Sugar.
Which vice could you NOT live without:  coffee or wine?  Wine.
On what occasion do you lie about your wine knowledge? Never -- I am surrounded by too many experts. 
When quaffing wine, do you plunge your nose, deep into the glass + sniff-- OR-- do you theatrically swirl?  Quick sniff and swirl -- nothing theatrical. I don't hold the glass up to analyze the color or anything like that.
Where is your favorite weekend hideaway within a 3 hour drive? My grandparents house in Inverness or Northstar at Tahoe in the winter. 
If you had one last sip of wine.... what would you chose? The current release of my parent's wine, Ad Vivum.
Which is your favorite neighborhood restaurant? Rutherford Grill.  
What is the quality you most admire in a man? Ambition.

Describe your perfect menu…My dad's ribeye grilled over grape vine cuttings, good french bread and triple cream black-truffle cheese, heirloom tomatoes and fresh mozzarella, homemade blackberry pie with vanilla ice cream for dessert, with some good Napa Cabernet.
What is your favorite food + wine, when no one is looking? I like that cheap Pate from Safeway with white bread and a glass of Chateauneuf du pape or a priorat.
