| Elizabeth Swanson is my mother and the Wizardess of Oz, here in Oakville.
Ever since I was a little girl, any time I walked into a 7-11, Cuban coffee shop, hardware store, or airplane "IT" always happened.... A stranger would immediately race up to me, with wild enthusiasm and animated eyes and say, "a-r-e YOU?????" Knowing immediately where this was going, I would say, "yes, I AM, she is my mother." My mother is known for her magnificent joie de vivre, infectious spirit, powerful jazz hands, breathtaking prop closet, trunk full of candy colored wigs + tap shoes for late night entertainment, magical word-smithing, love of junk food/ 40s french music/ red rubber boots, and most importantly, her kind ways. It is SHE, behind our crazy curtain..
